Emerging Irish rock group, Guerilla State, are already back after their debut EP release which only hit the world airwaves a few months ago in March. Guerilla State are known for their strong musical commentary on the social and political intricacies of the modern world. The aim of this band is to embody a fearless form of expression in an age of artistic suppression, a philosophy of autonomy. This explains why their sound is formed as a well delivered lyrical message which focuses on governmental affairs and failings in an age of misinformation.
‘Handle with care’ is a runaway train of energy coursing throughout the track, with a drumming rhythm designed to put your head in a spin and not let go till the song has reached its natural ending. The lyrics seem to be constructed to be shouted back at the band during a live gig, you have got to love a band who aim to give the live audience a kick and the mainstream radio DJ’s the cold shoulder.
The quality which Guerilla State hold so well is their ability to develop catchy lyrics and choruses around everyday issues.
